Wid Fuller was one of the Mormon Explorers sent to Arizona in the late 1870s. Because of the death of his wife, Anne, he did not return with the others in 1879, but did move later to Pine with his children. He built a small cabin at the site of MARKER #11 around 1882. He worked in the community, freighted and ran cattle for the rest of his life.

Revilo "Vi" Fuller
Vi Fuller did not live consistently in the Pine area. His wife, Mary, had 13 children before her death in 1915. When Vi married again at the age of 65, the young people of Pine-Strawberry gave such a chivaree that Vi, to stop them, promised a dance and midnight supper at the Old Strawberry School.

Marker #9 - Post Office
Frank C. Fuller, son of Wyllys Fuller, built this structure in 1928 when he became the first postmaster in Pine to take the examination and receive appointment from Washington. He so served for nine years. His son, Ralph, converted it to a service station.
Marker #10 - Pine Cemetery Sign
The site has served Pine since 1881. The site was donated to the community by Pryor Miller.
Marker #11 - In 1921 Mulberry Inn became the first tourist accommodation in Pine-Strawberry. Frank C. Fuller, son of Wid Fuller, took over the property after his father's death and was soon open for business. The ditch with flowing water is all that is still visible of the irrigation channel of the 1880s, which ran the length of the town. Both Mulberry Inn and the old post office-gas station are owned by Frank's son, Ralph.
