| William came to Pine with the Lazears in 1881. He married Frances Fuller and built this home just north of his sister, Margaret Lazear's home. They had five children. Their eldest, Carl, was killed at age 22 on Buckhead Mesa in an accident with his horse. He is buried beside his father in the Pine Cemetery. | |
| Note: The old cabin to the left of the Lazear home was moved from up on Pine Creek. It was from the Pleasant Hough place ... they settled there in 1879. |  |
